At Brushstrokes Property Management, our mission is simple: We are owners in Watercolor and we understand what most other owners want; which is a stress free ownership experience and realistic expectations. They want to enjoy their home several times a year, and then rent it out to pay the bills; without thinking about while they go about their busy lives. After consulting with other owners it lead us to starting a truly unique property management company. One with the Owner in mind.
Like many others owners, we were sick and tired of the same promises of huge rental projections, getting lost on websites with many other beautiful homes to choose from, and bad financial results. Our biggest fear of coming out of pocket to maintain our investment was becoming a reality so we needed to change. Luckily, we now have a proven system based on facts & reality, not projections, to share with other owners. We use 3 backend software programs to Price your property correctly as well as give guests a world class experience throughout their stay.
After purchasing our home several years ago, we found that most management companies are not motivated with the same goals as the owners. With websites hosting 20, 50, 80, or even hundreds of homes, it's really hard to stand apart. Our strategy is simple. We build each property a dedicated website to showcase it as "1 of 1". Not 1 of 100. By focusing on our strengths, concierge services for the guests, and telling a compelling story, we can secure direct bookings for your stie. We are featured on 54 websites to compete with any marketing from competitors. There are so many great homes on 30A, it can be truly distracting trying to find one on a site with so many options. Our clients love the success we have had with this simple but effective method. For the summer months of 2025, we are up 45% in bookings between April and July.
Another good question for your current manager: How many rentals do they OWN , or do they just use other people's to make money for themselves? Our founder has personally owned rentals since 2012, managing over 60 units while living remotely. We truly know what it means to not only rent a property, but how to keep it's value throughout the years. While some large companies mark up booking fees, and every item of maintenance they are claiming to do, at Brushstrokes Owners Club, we pay $200 for you, to enroll you in a bi-monthly maintenance check by our team. This means a team member inspects your home for 2 hours every month in person. This is not for cleaning, but all the little things such as checking exterior for caulking needs, budgeting and planning preventative items such as power washing annually during off season, and snaking all toilets and drains at least every 90 days. Being proactive now, will save huge problems down the road which lead to lost revenue and costly repairs. Let us take the guess work out of maintaining your investment.
